The Oregon winter has many drippy days, but occasionally the sun breaks through in glorious fashion. On a recent afternoon a double rainbow arched over Ambar and came to rest on Writer's Block and Maple Block, from which we draw fruit for our Minera Chardonnay.
The foundation of a great bottle of wine is high quality fruit. The mutually beneficial relationship between vines, soil, and animals is vital in achieving that.
