At Ambar Estate, the story begins beneath the vines.
Located just outside Newberg within the Dundee Hills AVA, the winery became the first vineyard in the Willamette Valley to earn Regenerative Organic Certification—treating soil health, biodiversity, animal welfare, and the people doing the work as connected parts of the same system.
That attention carries into the glass. Ambar produces estate-grown Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, and rosé, served inside a modern, glass-walled tasting room overlooking the vineyard.
The standard tasting is accompanied by small culinary pairings, while the private chef-led experience moves through five estate wines and five courses over the course of an afternoon. The food is not an accessory to the wine; each changes the way the other is understood.
