Alex Lombardo

Winery Educator

Originally from Pennsylvania, Alex studied biology and biochemistry before discovering a passion for wine that led to a cross-country move to Oregon in 2019. Since then, he has immersed himself in all aspects of wine production in the Willamette Valley, from working in the cellar and vineyards to connecting with guests in hospitality. Alex also broadened his experience with a year at a winery in northern Italy, deepening his appreciation for traditional methods and regional character.

A holder of the WSET Level 3 Award in Wines, Alex is dedicated to continuing his wine education and exploring the nuanced beauty of Pinot Noir and Chardonnay. Outside of work, he enjoys cooking with his two brothers, traveling overseas, spending time outdoors, and exploring the Pacific Northwest with a curiosity rooted in science and discovery.
